Arrival by Car

To ensure a safe and stress-free arrival, please note the following travel advice—especially in winter:

  1. Coming from Schladming, follow the signs toward Ramsau am Dachstein.
  2. Drive through Ramsau village heading toward the Dachstein Glacier—stay on Dachsteinstraße (L711).
  3. Continue driving until you can turn right onto the Dachstein toll road (well signposted).
  4. Important: Turn right just before the toll station!
    (Please DO NOT follow Google Maps directions that may lead via Walcherhof or Glöshof.)
  5. After the turn, you will reach Alpenrose after just a few meters.

Note for navigation systems:

In addition to the address, please enter the keyword “Dachstein-Mautstrasse” or use the Dachsteinstraße toll station as a reference—and turn right just before it, as described above.
